Trimin Lotion is an over-the-counter (OTC) medication that’s used to treat mild itchiness, also called pruritus. It can also help dry out oozing skin irritations. This soothing pink lotion can help relieve the following skin conditions:

Menthol is known as a counterirritant. It works by causing the skin to feel cool and then warm.Fast-acting Trimin Original lotion contains menthol (0.5%).Phenol (0.5%) and camphor (0.5%) to cool and soothe itch while moisturizing the skin. It is designed to relieve the itch associated with general itch, dry skin, insect bites, sunburn and poison ivy/oak/sumac. And because it’s steroid free, it’s safe to use daily.
How to use Trimin Lotion
Use this medication on the skin only. Follow all directions on the product package, or use as directed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before using. Apply the medication with a cotton pad, and allow the medication to dry on the skin. If you are uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
